Information - Guarantors
If
you are under the age of 25, or in receipt of any government
benefits or on a low income you will be required to provide
a guarantor for the full period of your tenancy.
The
Guarantor must be a homeowner, be over 25 years of age and
in a financial position to be able to pay the rent should
you default on payments. The guarantor will also be responsible
for any damage caused to the property by misuse and abuse
by the tenant over the amount of deposit held.
If
during your tenancy the Guarantor moves property or location,
they must notify Mapleleaf Letting Centre in writing at the
earliest opportunity.
